I have had over 30 years’ experience working with Spirit. Although my journey actually started when I was 7!
I hear a lot of people say, I am a natural born Medium and I don’t need training. BUT even a “natural” needs guidance, direction, fine tuning of those skills and abilities, and also learning about responsibility and ethics. That is what I did and I believe that way you grow and will have a thorough understanding of your Mediumship skills,
I was directed by Spirit initially to the Spiritualist Church, which was a great grounding. Then I progressed to the Arthur Findlay College (AFC) in the UK, one of the finest teaching establishments in the world for Psychic Studies. Followed by going to as many workshops as I could, most of which were taught by AFC trained tutors.
I have gained my CSNU(d) Certificate of the Spiritualist National Union and AMTSF Associate Member of The TS Fellowship. With more qualifications being worked on as I write this.
I was thrilled when I realised most of my tutors had been taught by the great Gordon Higginson, who had been President of the Spiritualist National Union (SNU) 1970-93 and Principal of AFC from 1979-93. I realise how beneficial that has been to me and feel very privileged indeed.
This was such a strong background for me, of which I have taken the “best bits” if you like. I have also taken the rigidity out of the training, putting fun and humour in, which I know makes for better learning. In my 30+ year I have been able to see what works and what doesn’t. As a teacher you need to take out the “ego” as this is not about you, it’s about your students getting the most out of their training and making it the best learning experience for them.
I still continue to learn with new courses where I can, finding new ways to do my own mediumship. Then passing that on to students. Personally, I think this is a must!
My passion for teaching is so important to me, and sharing my skills and knowledge is vital. Ultimately giving readings, whether privately or publicly has to be do with love, motivation, upliftment AND making that absolute connection to the Spirit loved one. Again these are things that I pass on to my students in my teaching including the passion. You cannot be a great Medium without having all of these elements in your mediumship.
I love that my students become my family, I nurture them where the trust, friendship and love develops. They are like my babies and as with your own children, I want the best for all of them.
I will encourage as much as I can and give you opportunities to share your own Mediumship with audiences where I can. This again is how you grow, by putting into practice what you have learned.
I have created my team of Spiritual Warriors and this team is growing daily. You too could become a part of this team.
